I initially sourced  men's military uniforms and used these as a base to inspire my womenswear clothing. The fabrics and colours chosen were very important to me, as although I was initially inspired by military clothing, I wanted to avoid colours associated with them. I found these particular colours subconsciously ran throughout my research. I became increasingly interested in the special detailing of the garments and the heavy durability of the fabrics. I tried to recreate this within my designs, focusing on staple pieces such as soft draped shirts and fine knit oversized jumpers teamed with effortless tailoring. My aim was to design clothing that all women would feel comfortable yet confident wearing.

I made it into the interviewing stages for a design position at MaxMara.
